Houston, We have a problem...

Who knew shopping would be so difficult? Ok really just shopping on a budget. I've been SEARCHING for a bed frame, but just about every one that I like is $1,000 plus. Give me a catalog and cover all the prices and I guarantee you that I will pick one of the most expensive things on my first pick, no matter what it is. Why?? I have a serious problem, and it's call, {involuntary} expensive taste. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this; any places to look? {I'm pretty sure I've looked EVERYWHERE, but I'm up for suggestions!}

This is what I've found so far and I love it! I thinks it's a little pricey, although it's nowhere close to being $1,000 {thank goodness!}. But Devin seems to think that it's something his grandma would have...Really, do I have old people taste??

Also, speaking of shopping, does anyone have any good places to buy modest clothes that don't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks girls!
P.S. I Miss you all!

  1. I've seen some SUPER cute DIY headboard ideas on Pinterest... and if you figure out where to clothe yourself inexpensively, let me know too!

  2. There's this website called Shabby Apple that has some really cute modest clothes that can be kind of expensive, but if you get them on sale they are a good price.

    Windsor also has a lot of cute inexpensive clothes... some are immodest, but you just have to look around. But seriously inexpensive compared to other stores.

  3. My mom posted a headboard that looks similar to that in her "DIY Furniture" board! I tend to go to target for clothes- maybe not always the cheapest but you can usually find modest stuff. Miss you!

  4. Thanks girls! And as you know, I am all about DIY stuff and i have seriousely considered doing a DIY headboard, but I really want the whole thing {head, foot, and sideboards}. Also, yes Target is great! Except this last month, they have had nothing in my size at any store near us :( and for you Cali girls, I found a store called Choice, at the Sunrise Mall. They have just regular T-shirts {that fit right and cover everything} for only $3.99!!! Thanks again for all the ideas!
