Time for an update!

Not too much new or exciting going on in the Holmes' world.  Well actually, now as I'm thinking of all I'm going to tell you in this post, there are some new and exciting things going on!

  • We received some VERY GOOD news from Devin's work; a big promotion is officially coming very soon. Thank you Chase!

  • Last Saturday I had the opportunity to take the Colvin family's maternity pictures; I will have some of them up as soon as I edit them!

  • Disneyland is finally almost here! Only 41 more days; I'm so flippin' excited! {I've been excited for this trip for over a year now}.

  • We will finally be able to seriously start looking for a house in November! So hopefully, if everything goes according to plan, we'll be all settled in by February at the latest. I can't believe that in few months we will be home owners! Wow, that is a very scary, amazingly exciting thought!

  • For those who don't know, I am not a reader. I honestly have only completely read maybe 4-5 books in my life {not including the picture/"chapter" books I "read" when I was little}. I can say though that every book I've read I loved and read in a very short amount of time haha. Anywho, I began reading Then Comes Marriage {thanks to Steph, for reading the first book, First Comes Love, and telling me it was good}. I bought this book, at Cover To Cover, 2 months before Devin and I got married and It's sadly taken me well over a year to even start reading it. I wish I had read it when I bought it, but I am glad that I am at least reading it now. Last night I recapped everything that I've read so far, and we both laughed at how almost spot on this book is and how some things describe me, Devin, or us perfectly. Some of his comments : "haha pretty much", "seriously?", "it's true" or "see I told you" and "alright, alright". It is a very good book and I highly recommend it to everyone who is married, for however long, or those who will be getting married.
P.S. In response to my last post {about Nursery}, I now have a feeling that I am being told to wait a while before I have kids haha 3 rounds of Nursery is VERY good birth control {it looks like our 1 year after Devin's big promotion plan is being extended a few more years haha}.
